PHOTOGRAMMETRY IN ARCHEOLOGY ACCORDING TO VERIN NAVER BURIAL GROUND AND THE SHENGAVIT SETTLEMENT

Abstract. Photogrammetry is a non-destructive, three-dimensional modeling technique that has been widely adopted in archaeology. Archaeological monuments are particularly vulnerable to natural and anthropogenic activities, such as destruction, weathering, erosion. Therefore, precise fixation documentation of the monument essential for preserving cultural layers future generations. Digital technologies, especially photogrammetry, enable us obtain better results photogrammetric survey. In recent years, this method employed excavation sites Shengavit settlement Verin Naver tombs, demonstrating its effectiveness archaeological research. To view stratigraphy site, data was merged with archival drawings previously collected information. This integration allowed more comprehensive understanding site's history evolution.
